Rotarian John Adams shares his experience with the club about his mission trip to the Ukraine and Crimea
John Adams has a gift, and he's not afraid to humbly share it. In April and May of 2012 the Singing Men of North Central Texas embarked on a multi-city tour of the Ukraine and Crimea. They were faced with obstacles at many locations however, overcame those with flying colors. They sung to thousands of people in dozens of venues in an area of the world that had been closed off from outside influences until relatively recently.
The music and program brought a message of peace and faith to a people who were ecstatic to receive it! This is the kind of dedication to our world that we all can be proud of. This group embodies the Rotary International theme for 2012-2013--Peace through Service. The Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club meets at 7:00 every Tuesday morning, and is actively looking to attract new members. Please feel free to stop in at a meeting and find out what we're about. Breakfast is on us!
