The Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club took on the challenge to help a local resident by painting and doing minor repairs on her house. Barbara Farmer on North Alamo says that she is very grateful that the Breakfast Rotary was concerned for her and willing to help.
The project included a fresh coat of paint, repairs to boards on the back and shutters, removing plants and planting new flowers in the flower beds, and trimming trees.
Breakfast Rotary member and Community Service Chairman, Mitchell Berenson, led the project and is very proud of his club and other volunteers who assisted in the effort. Other organizations that volunteered to help were Community Infusion Solutions and members from Reach: Rockwall church. Mitchell says, “It was great to watch our team work hard and make a positive difference in the Rockwall community.” The Rockwall Breakfast Rotary is always seeking ways to help those in Rockwall County who need assistance.
