Breakfast Rotary Club Welcomes District Governor

Rotary International District 5810 is one of 534 districts worldwide, and covers 8 counties in the greater North Texas region with 69 clubs, including the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club. The District was established in 1991.

 

Linda Elliott is a member of the Rotary Club of Grand Prairie and is serving the 2010-2011 term as district governor. During her remarks at the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club, she praised the local Rotarians for their worthwhile work in the community as well as support of Rotary International programs.

 

During the last 4 years, DG Elliott has been very active in District 5810's work with a Rotary sponsored clinic in Rio Bravo, Mexico, as part of the Texas Rotary TB project. She has made 19 trips to the clinic plus trips to medical and dental facilities in Reynosa and Matamoros.

 

The Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club presented DG Elliott a check in support of her efforts with the Texas Rotary TB Project. Presenting the check is Rockwall Breakfast Rotary President, Sharita Blacknall.
